Wong Tai Sin, Eastern Wu | Hong Kong Coral Workshop - Explore Hong Kong's real underwater map and join us as 'Underwater Detectives'

Description
Coral supports a quarter of the marine life in the South China Sea and protects our coastline, but did you know that it is facing threats such as pollution and climate change?
Marine ecologist Jeffery Chung has over 7 years of experience in coral ecological research. In 2024, he and his team created the first underwater map of Hong Kong, showcasing the true landscape of Hong Kong's coral communities! This groundbreaking map covers Tung Ping Chau to Hoi Ha Wan, bringing the beauty and diversity of Hong Kong's corals into our lives.
This workshop will delve into this map with participants, shedding light on these awe-inspiring habitats and their conservation methods. It will also offer thought-provoking insights and uncover the treasures beneath our waters. Join us as we dive into this world and contribute to improving marine ecology!
